I'm guessing it was the overworked underpaid jackass delivery guy. As he pulled it out of the van, my wife said, he dropped it and had to roll it back right side up. Sad story. I was looking forward to putting it all back together. Now I'm gonna have to wait for claims and whatnot. Anyone know if this could have effected anything but the chain case??

Sorry to see that. I'd probably check to make sure none of the force transferred into the block or chain guide. I hope it gets taken care of ASAP.

From what I see its just the chain case. I just ordered one from majestic and plan on getting every penny back from fedex. I saved my ass off for 8 months to get this done and now it will be pushed back even farther.

I used to be a driver for Fedex and let me tell you plenty of heavy packages were not packaged correctly. This might not be your case but expect this question when filing the claim.

That is why I never have and never will ship a motor in a box. It always will be strapped down to a pallet and freighted somewhere. Sure it's more expensive but it isn't something that can just be thrown around or stacked upon then.

Its how Laskey shipped it back to me. I shipped it to them on a pallet. I would assume that Mike would know what he is doing as far as this stuff goes.

I feel your pain on getting stuff damaged while shipping. I've seen my delivery driver drop a head a couple of feet from the ground in front of my house. I was not happy.
