If you want to be helpful, shoot alpine an email and inform them. They actually appreciate the feedback, and believe it or not, get it fixed.

So its confirmed that the new OS works with the x305? Any issues like lagging, random disconnection, things of that nature?

So far so good since reset. I used Bluetooth for pandora on way to work and it was flawless.

So I downloaded the new OS and it works with my x305 but a few issues.

When going through lists with the knob its much slower. You have the turn the knob a lot more to advance through the list. Even when holding down the knob and turning for the quick advance, it takes a while.

Secondly, the volume is lower for some reason. I have to turn up the volume on my head unit higher than before to get the same volume.

I use the Pandora Link app on my iphone and ever since I upgraded my 3GS to OS4, if I connect to the Pandora Link app first, I get no sound out of the head unit, even though I can see the song playing. But, I get sound just fine if I start itunes first. So my workaround is to start Pandora Link, then unplug the iphone, plug it back in, and that seems to fix the sound problem. This never happened pre OS4. Planning to send a note to Pandora.
