It said he had severe cuts and broken bones. It wasn't clear who got the speeding ticket, but I don't see how the cop could determine that.

Its like when you hydroplane and a cop comes along and gives you a speeding ticket. You hydroplane therefore you were not going 20 mph under the speed limit and therefore deserve a ticket.
I dunno that's what I figure. Dunno who got the ticket.

S2000s are being taken out in the dallas area recently by 18 wheelers?
At least Tin is hopefully getting better from his.

A cop should not issue a "Speeding" ticket to a person without some proof of some actual speed above the posted limit. Basically, you can't get a "speeding" ticket for going 40 in a 40. If the road conditions are so bad that going the speed limit is unsafe, then the ticket would be something like "Unsafe Speed" or "Failure to control vehicle". I received a few of those when I was in my teens.

My guess is that he was issued a citation, and the reporter simply assumed it was for speeding.
