Dyno Results-K&N FIPK, Skunk2 Exhaust, Hondata IMG
Hey guys, I just did a recent dyno day with some local S2Ki guys and wanted to share my results with everyone. I know there has been a lot of discussion of whether the K&N FIPK makes power and we've seen the YouTube videos of the Skunk2 Megapower exhaust making 7.3 WHP with or with the silencers. I put this to the test.
Dyno date: June 19, 2010
Dyno: Dynojet
Temperature: 67 degrees F
Humidity: 58
Modifications: K&N FIPK, Skunk2 MegaPower Exhaust, Hondata intake manifold gasket
RunFile_001: run without silencers
RunFile_004: run with silencers
RunFile_006: stock baseline, also on a Dynojet
Now the results...
What did I learn?
-I made 12 WHP with these mods; making power throughout the rev range
-The Skunk2 exhaust makes the same power with and without the silencers (props to Skunk2 for this!!)
-If I were to guess as to how much power the K&N FIPK makes, it would be around 5 WHP since the Skunk2 exhaust makes 7.3 WHP (see here)
-I believe the Hondata IMG had minimal power influence in this dyno as the car was not running for very long prior to the pulls

Is this with stock cat or with testpipe?
I'm still waiting for a dyno of the HKS 75mm. There was deffinently a noticeable difference when I bolted mine on.
