4 day detail of Lamborgini LP670-4 SV
We started a new project last Sunday, a Lamborgini LP670-4 SV;

The owner of this car loving it very much for driving, our job to make it nice and shiny again. We got it just after it had come back from Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps in Belguim and a multitude of insects having been killed in the process, all relieving their acids and shellac onto the paintwork in the process.

All topped off nicely with some water marks on the glass engine view bay

This car had been hammered and you could tell this fact by the ear to ear grin from its owner, even the paintshield had given up;

Did I care, hell no, this is what cars are all about, my job is to get them Shiny’d.

So, the engine bay;

Probably the cleanest part of the car but this would still need to be cleaned with Meguiars APC and then steamed before being dressed.

Leave this to dry for a little, then wipe off all excess, remembering to clean the windows as demonstrated by my lovely assistant;

The results of which are;

SO, not quite in order but on to the bodywork, starting off with some body solvent all over to soften up those bugs, whilst that is working its magic time to get dirty with the wheels using Meguiars APC

Theses wheels really needed to come off but unfortunately we did not have access to the tools so it was up to Lorna to really contort herself around the arches and get underneath to give these wheels the cleaning they needed. The Wheels safe brush and steaming helped to make this job a little easier.

Now it was time to snow foam, steam, snow foam and finally wash before a claybar wash and then dry.

Now it was time to get rid of some of the scuffs on the paintwork using a thick microfiber buffing towel and some body solvent.

Then we moved onto the vents at the front of the car, these were pretty bad and needed to be removed so we could get to everything, once the grills had been cleaned on both sides we would have to clean out the vents and then dress. The grills also had plenty of stone chips, we did not have time to re-anodize them so we touched them up using a permanent marker.

Now it was time to sort out trim and door shuts, these were pretty grubby as the car was being kept next to a building site and was not garaged;

Okay, I am going to stop at this point as I need a shower and need to chill. More photo’s to follow tomorrow.

Irv, it's the nearest I will ever get to affording one of these cars
Aquila, I wish
Blurter, I agree. Many of my customers do use and abuse. All the more work for me
Mike, thank you, that's why your order has not been sorted yet. Four days worth of work, more pictures to follow.
Russ, she is 27 and single

However, the last time I was at Spa I was sure I was in Belgium, when did they move it?
