It was a great time except for the rain today. I think I counted 13 S2000's total.

Whats up Mark!

You should have stayed, the weather cleared up pretty nicely for the second session.

Thanks for showing us around downtown Ft. Worth and all of its "wildlife".

Well it looks like I got one pic of you Mark.

Thanks Mark for the Grand Prix tour to downtown Fort Worth, giving us newbies track advice, and of course the selection in food and scenery.

Glad you enjoyed it!

I nearly fell asleep on the drive home, and passed out for a four-hour nap as soon as I arrived. So maybe it was best anyway, even with the clearing rain? <shrug> I dunno, but I had fun anyway!

Did any of my advice help out? I'd be especially interested if you figured out even better ways around the track.

Sorry Mark but my wife and I could not find you late Saturday so we just headed home. Today was the better day for me. One of my students went solo so I did not have to work near as much. The rain mostly cleared and the track dried out so I did get in a couple of good runs. Getting to run the track clockwise was pretty interesting. It does not flow near as well though so I like the original direction better.

Bummer - we were wondering where you'd gone off to. I guess we were a bit hidden by the tailers the Cobras came in.

I overheard some other instructors say there was not nearly as much room on the exit of one of the corners as you would have expected. I also read a post by one of the corner workers - apparently quite a few people went off at one place that wasn't easily seen by the worker stations.

Have you ever done TWS backwards? I think it's much more fun that way that CCW.

I wish they would have let the red run group drive MSR clockwise as well. They would have had to reposition the cones though since without them most drivers would be lost. I guess there was just not enough time to do that and make sure it was safe. When going clockwise it seems like in several of the turns if you went off you would be heading directly at the corner worker stations, or the pond.
I have never done TWS CW but I hear it is a blast. Are you going to the Drivers Edge event at TWS in October? If I get asked to instruct I will certainly recommend that we run it CW a few times in the white and red run groups.

The 12th and 13th? I'll be in California at that time.
