A buddy of mine recently got back from DC and said at a dealership there, they had

"around 67 S2000's, but none of them had vtec, they were a mess up or something and this dealership is the only one with them"

I called BS on that instantly, but he's the kind of kid who never really lies, and he said he took pictures of the engines and none of them said vtec on them, and they looked different than my AP1's engine.. i'm waiting for pictures on them though


Anyone heard of this? I don't think Honda would mess up that many s2k's seeing as how little of them they sold..
I'll update this thread with the pictures as soon as i get em later tonight..


oh yeah, anyone in the DC area, he said it was a huge dealership like right when you exit the metro area.. if anyone wants to go check themselves..

lol!, i'm sure just the spark plug cover was removed, and s2000's only came with 2.0l and 2.2l vtec engines thank god, your friend most likely doesn't know what he seen and most likely doesn't know what the engines look like.

 

 

maybe he meant 6 or 7? lol
either way I highly doubt honda will ever change trim levels on tis car. Remember it was only supposed to be a limited production.
