Is it just me or is the diverter valve in that pic installed backwards? You have boost pressure going into the side of the diverter valve rather than up through the bottom?

This is an acceptable way to install the diverter valve with a supercharger system where it can not overpressurize like a turbocharger system.

Ohhh. Ok I see so it soely relies on manifold vacume to open and vent. Cool, thanks for the speedy tech answer

Are there any issues with exposing the air filter like that? I guess you just need to change it more often?

The filters are washable. Its the same thing if you had a cold air intake system except in this case the filter is alot higher and out of harms way unlike cold air intakes that have the filter down low.
