Windscreen - A piece of clear plastic equipped on convertibles that reduces the turbulence that enters the cockpit as wind rushes over the windshield.

Windscreen Customization Options
1. Height - Tall or Stock
Stock - Customize your own windscreen that is the same size as stock! See customization below.

Tall - The windscreen on the Honda S2000 is too short to be able to block sufficient wind from rushing back into the cockpit. With the Tall JS2k.com Windscreen, the turbulence is greatly diminished. Our windscreen is the perfect height:

* Tall enough to block more turbulence
* Short enough to clear the soft top
* Short enough to open the secret compartment with the top up
* Adds more customizable space

2. Opacity
Windscreens have an option of a pigment tinted windscreen to dim headlights in your rearview mirror even with the top down!

3. Customization
Each windscreen can be customized with text, images, or logos. Choose your own image! Choose your own font! Design your own windscreen!

Customization Details
Customization of your windscreen will be discussed before and / or after purchasing. We can do almost any design!

Because of licensing issues, customers must provide their own design. "S2000", "Honda" and the Honda logo are trademarks of Honda Motor Company.

Designs are best when they have clearly defined lines such as a logo or text or a 'clipart' like image.

4. Illuminated Windscreen
Details are still being worked out on this, and will take longer than unlighted windscreens to be released.
The illuminated windscreen will involve core exchanges. When you receive it, everything will be pre-assembled, and ready to go.
The Illuminated Windscreen will be customized. The illumination will cause the etched design to be lit up.

Construction
These are custom cut pieces of 3/16ths inch Modified Acrylic, the same thickness as OEM. This is stronger than normal clear acrylics for sale. They will bend and break only under extreme amounts of pressure. Your JS2k.com Windscreen is guaranteed not to break under normal usage.
Note: The acrylic has a unique property that will cause it to turn slightly blue in 100+ degree weather. The effect will wear off once the AC starts blowing. The effect will also go away after opening a door to release the hot air. This effect will not occur during normal top down driving.

will the tall one still allow the top to fold?

will it come with a base or do we have to modify our own base?

I'll be driving an hour out to look at the tall ones this weekend. I should have pics soon.

 

Yep, the tall one will allow the top to fold, and be able to open the secret compartment with the top up.

Installation will require you to take your clear stock windscreen out of the housing, and replace it with the new one. I did it for the first time last night, and it took about 15 minutes.
