Product Description
NTR R3
NTR Race R3 kits set the standard for ultimate performance. The VLN Nurburgring lap-record holding design offers racers and race engineer’s precise damping control.
Campaigned over some of the most demanding endurance races around the world, Race R3 kits provide reliability and virtually eliminate fade. Available over a wide range of sports, formula and GT platforms.
// 3-way independent damping control
// 40mm or 46mm damper piston
// 14mm, 16mm and 22mm piston rods
// Camber / Caster adjustable
// Adjustable spring preload
// Independent adjustable ride height
// Remote or piggyback canister
// 24 click rebound adjustment
// 16 click high speed compression adj.
// 26 click low speed compression adj.
// Complete with Nitron springs
// Drag racing specifications available
This kit is designed for serious race use and as such incorporates high and low speed bump control valves for further chassis fine tuning. By adjusting either bump or rebound damping the damping ratio can be adjusted, however the extra adjustment over the R1 opens up many more options during the setup process. For example the high speed damping can be kept soft so the car is not thrown by running kerbs, whilst not compromising body control in the transient cornering phase (turn in, applying power). The low speed control is more concerned with grip. Softening the low speed will increase the grip, useful if suffering from power-oversteer.
The NTR Race R3 remote reservoir (or piggyback in some specifications) kit provides yet another level of performance over the 1-way and 2-way kits, this is mainly due to the independent bump and rebound valving mechanisms and the low speed bleed reducing harshness and increasing grip further. Other benefits of remote reservoirs are higher fade resistance due to a higher oil volume, plus a larger surface area to radiate the heat to the atmosphere.
This kit includes Nitron's pillow-ball top mounts, these eliminate all rubber in the system and so ensure all road inputs are transmitted directly into the damper, maximising wheel control and providing optimum feedback to the driver's finger tips.
Custom spring and valving requirements can be specified.
Piggy back rebound reservoirs can also have it in remote tank to fit it inside the car.
Price start from £2495 plus VAT.

We are offering 10% off if you order it from us and we can also recommend you springs rate and damping rate to suit your need.
Please feel free to ask if you have any question regarding this kit.

Excellent coilovers
I had the Tracks on my S for 4 years
Just a few points to note;
The Sports do not have a rear reservoir which means they cannot be lowered very much
The Tracks & Race do but will not go lower than 35 mm as the front reservoirs then touch the wishbones
I would strongly recommend top pillow mounts, the extra locking ring and remote rear adjusters.
You can specify what spring rates you want and the dampers are valved to those springs!
From experience and talking to other S owners with the Nitrons on teh Tracks are a good compromise between cost and complexity.

I have had my Nitron tracks for 6 months, well worth the money.Lets not forget about the weight saved over the standard set up. As you can see from the pic`s, the quality is fantastic.
Yes we can supply the S2000 kit with hose mounted reservoirs if you prefer and now all s2000 kit comes with solid pillow ball top mount.
Additional lockrings are £10 per corner.
This is probably one of the best kit on the market they are on par with Ohlins, Motons...etc

What has the externel reservoirs got to do with the ride height?
Before I replaced the springs on my Nitron Sports last year I was scraping the bottom of the car on every speed pump I went over but was still not getting any rubbing at the rear.
Exactly how low do you want to go?
The Nitron Sports are more than adequate for mostly road use and are the lightest of the 3 Nitron options.
eSem it's not about it not being possible it's to do with the fact that if you go very low without reservoir you are limiting the travel on the rear damper and there in affecting the handling.
With an external reservoir you still have space for the fluid to dampen properly even when very low

Hold more oil & cool the oil the gets HOT as it squeeze through the valves.
Honda put them on the OEM rear (but not the fronts) because it is hte only way to get suitable damping in such a short travel.
Take another 20-35mm off an you have even less travel and even less oil.
It is normal practice on aftermarket coil overs.
The Nitron Sports are the only S2000 fitments I ever seen withouth them.
But as you say there is a weight penalty.
When you get to the high-end of motorsport dampers there are solutions other than remote reservoirs, however the reservoir seems to be the accepted after-market cost-effective method.
I did some work for a damper manufacturer last year (with F3 cars) - 12mm of damper travel, no reservoir, but excellent damping control in both bump and rebound and no heat issues. They were the best part of £10,000 a set though.

Just letting you know, now all the Stage 2 kit will be in Js Racing spec if you order it from us and they have now changed the designed of the coilover for more height adjustment.
Helper springs also comes in standard with Stage 2 kit.
It will look exactly like this -

thanks
