Default We will stop offering S2000 or other Honda symbols on anything, effective immediately

Since we have no interest in violating Honda's intellectual property rights, we will stop offering any S2000 logos or other Honda symbols on anything we sell, even though things with logos account for a very small fraction of what we sell. For example, no one appears to want the Honda script badges.

We will not respond to any debate or entreaties over this issue. It will be done and we will not change our minds.

Honda has its rights and we have to honor them. We requested a license to use these symbols from AHM many months ago, but have received no response, which we have to assume is their roundabout way of saying no.

All current orders will be filled as they were specified when they were placed.

Have you considered selling AHM the rights to your badges or working on a royalty fee?

I just ordered a center console leather cover with S2000 on it 12 hours ago, I suppose I will get it, or not?

Cu, Bart

Are you guys stopping the script of "S2000" on the center console, the seat belt cushions, and the 's' on the headrests???

No loss as far as I'm concerned.

I'd rather have a "Rick's" symbol on anything I buy than a Honda "H" or "S2000" logo!!!!!!!!
I KNOW ABSOLUTELY WITHOUT A DOUBT Rick stands behind his products.
I'm not so sure any more about Honda after reading some of the "sorry your broken rod, piston, engine, rear differential, whatever... is not our problem..." stories on this board.

My personal experience with Honda and AHM has been excellent, almost as good as my experience with "Rick's" .... but not quite.

Rick, hold out for the BIG BUCKS if they want to license anything from you.

Barry,

Thanks for the good words. In my humble opinion, I think I could teach Honda a thing or two about customer service.
