Default SOS vs Kraftwerks

http://www.dragsport.com/issue/2009/0909_e..._coverage.shtml

So the Kraftwerks came out on top on the track, but it had a better set up...all around the SOS S/C setup had the most boost and made the most power. So is the SOS setup really better than Kraftwerks? Do ya need the front mount or is the SOS cool enough (no pun).

SOS website only claims 338whp, but im sure thats lower than 13psi of boost.

Isn’t this a moot point? If you’re talking a power producing kit, wouldn’t a better comparison be in a strait line, boost for boost? Rather then two cars with different set ups on a track where there is more variables on how the car will perform over just what the output is to the wheels? It’s a fun comparo for a magazine, but hardly worth solely basing what FI kit is better.

Horsepower depends on the dyno, the test was all on the same dyno which is obviously more optomistic then SOS's. But if you don't think those supercharger conversions provide enough power then check out.

And with the New Rotrex C38-91 coming out 20 psi is easily achievable.

SOS kit has far more expandability than the KW. Look around and you will see a stock engine on e85 with 511whp on a stock SOS kit. no KW could touch that. It also has a cleaner look, as well as a cleaner install, if you are a DIY kind of guy.

The magazine had a DVD with it that also covered the event and had a bunch of interview time with the driver. He preferred the SOS setup.
