Default Did i get a bad ap1 ebay front lip?

Hey guys i received my ebay replica oem ap1 front lip today and one of the corners of the lip is bent down which made it hard to get on the car. I know with this lip you have to let it sit in the sun for a couple hours first but its dark out so i just wanted to see how it looked on the car. Also it doesn't come with any instructions so i don't really know where these bolts and stuff go. I read around and most people didn't even use all the hardware and i have some double sided 3M tape laying around that i might use. Here are some pics of everything, let me know.

this is the good corner:

And here is the bad one:

All the hardware:

Just some pics of it on the car, nothing it holding it on.

Sorry for all this, i'm just a little paranoid about these kinds of things but don't have the money to buy an OEM lip. I don't wanna get it painted and then it not fit, that would suck! Also do you guys even think i should paint it, it looks pretty good in black? Thanks so much everyone.

Dont use that crappy hardware, it wont line up right anyways. The only thing you need is the 4 screws (you need 2 in each inner fender well), and some 3M double sided tape. Thats how mine is and it isnt going anywhere, and hasnt since i've had it. Plus it lines up so much better with this tape, if you dont use it, it will sag.

That looks pretty normal, it just needs heated up man. Just let it sit in the sun all afternoon, then use a heat gun or blow dryer and heat it up the best you can, and it will be very easy to flex. It looks like it will go on okay.

Yes, it will look alot better painted.

those lips are more like rubber than anything else, it is really soft and heating it up should solve your issues. I had one on the car for a short while. Crappy hardware is what you get for cheap pricing, that stuff doesn't work very well. Do as Suzuka describes.

or just buy the real parts that are made with quality and do it right the first time and you will have no issues. if you can't afford the right stuff then don't get it. it will turn out half assed and look half assed. save your money and do it right the first time and you probably won't have to do it a second time and give your money to the right people, the ones who actually designed the part, not the ones who copy it and make money off it.
