strut bars are just for looks... it doesn't do much on our cars.

Exactly. That's why I want to buy a cheap one for looks, and support when working on the car. I might spray the thing matt black.

I'm contemplating if I were to put that on my car, should I take out my brake pads to offset the weight..?

cmon now, we all know you can lose almost 100+ lbs if you drop four calipers, disks, and got rid of the master cylinder. and the brake pedal.

and if you do the math the weight lost by removing the brake system plus the horse power gained from the strut bar thats like 100,000,000 Whp........

honestly i would not recommend this strut bar chances are it wont fit will rust or the welds with crack. it actually looks like it is made from 2 different metals 3 including the bolts. Spend an extra few bucks on something some one else has bought and knows it will fit and is one piece made of the same material.
