Default anyone heard of spugen exhaust?

they look nice and are quiet cheap. Anyone have any experience with them?
also they supposedly add 8hp.. not bad, right?

Look here - http://www.s2ksocal.com/

It's kind of the unofficial Spugen website. There are lots of Spugen threads and people seem to really like them.

I think they are currently working on a bolt on cat back kit right now. All the current applications have been welded on after the pre-silencer. Some guys have gone single, some dual.

They say 8hp, but.........

They are using magnaflow mufflers. Sound is actually pretty quiet compared to all the other name brand exhausts out there.

Its all done out of a muffler shop in Cali so looks like you will have to get it shipped.

go to s2ksocal.com and look for ahhvtec. he's the spokesperson for Spugen.

The dual set up is VERY quiet. TOO quiet. Its much more quiet than my Apexi WS. If you want loud, go with the single version.
The creator of this kit has just released a bolt on kit with flanges and everything so you can actually get it installed anywhere. I believe the first kit was just shipped to NY.

From an aesthetic stand point, they look very very good. Just as good as mine even. For me personally though, the dual is too quiet, even my Apexi is too quiet, which why i am going single.

No, not quieter than factory. Its just quiet compared to other aftermarket exhausts I've heard. In VTEC, the sound is very noticeable. Sub-V-tec, just a lil deep and throaty.

Most guys go with this exhaust because they don't want something too loud.

Yeah, go single Spugen since its notieceably louder than the dual set-up.
