Default I am interested in hosting a Tech day!

I dont want to step on any of the mods toes, if i went the wrong way about this post please let me know via PM or email. Omar.Gonzalez4@yahoo.com
I can edit or modify it asap.

-------------------------------------
I would like to introduce my self, My name is Omar. I have owned MY02 Spa for a little over 4 years now. I have spent the last 5 years of my life in the PCNW Seattle, and attended many s2ki meets, track days and other events.

I have recently moved back to Maryland and was interested in Hosting a Tech day. I wanted to gather interest and was planning on possibly executing this meet some time in March or April. The meet would be held at my House in La Plata MD, and i expect to see members from the Nova/Maryland area.

I have a heated 2 car garage, tools and plenty of parking space, but bringing your own tools is always encouraged. During the tech day we can knock out some basic things such as Oil, Diff, Radiator, Brake fluid changes, spark plugs, brakes, valve adjustment etc and installation of any aftermarket or oem parts you may have.

The expected wrench time is dependent on the turn out, and we can rotate the members in and out the garage accordingly. During that time the grill will be lit and cooking and ofcourse accompanied with beer. I also have a full size pool table to kill some of the wait.

Bring your self, tools, a camera and a little gas money if possible and the weather allows, we can do a quick drive before everyone parts theyre way. I look forward to meeting s2k members in the area!

Nice to meet you Omar. I am Cid. I hope you are enjoying Maryland. The weather sucks. F**k it!

Umm but you will love the Mid-A community. Everyone is nice and chill and easy going. You will fit right in. As for the Tech Day, sure just umm set it up and let the community organizers know. That way you get alot of people to come.

I actually need to do some stuff to my S, so it works out.

Welcome to the Mid-A! We're always glad when the community pitches in to help organize events. When you set a date feel free to update this thread or create a new one. I would recommend having folks sign up for what they need done and create a schedule. This has helped us keep the chaos down in the past. We will help you out in any way we can.
