Gerry Rafferty, age 63
He is one of the few artists of the '70's that I really liked. His most famous song, Baker Street, had a haunting sax solo that I will always remember. RIP, Gerry.
I heard the news on NPR on the way home tonight. At sixty-three I wonder what the cause of death was? They did not say. Apparently, some of his songs like Baker Street were auto-biographical so I can only surmise.
Condolences to his friends and family.

RIP
According to Wikipedia, cause of death was liver failure....
"Stuck in the Middle..." and "Baker Street" were both popular favorites. My own all time favorite Rafferty song was his ballad "The Right Moment"....
"The Right Moment"
RIP Gerry. Thanks for the music.

That song was very introspective, and there very well be lessons to be learned from it.

Baker Street has always been a favorite along with Stuck in the Middle.
