I am looking at a red 2006 S2K with 57,000 miles at Prestige Motors in Tampa. They are on 13518 North Florida Avenue. I am up here in Canada and for the right deal and right car I would purchase now, store in florida for the winter, and drive it back later in the spring.

If another member is familiar with the dealer, the car, or would drop by to have a look and maybe test drive, that would be much appreciated. I have been back and forth with a guy named Jimmy so feel free to tell them you are looking at the car for a Canadian friend, who now owes you a beer or 2 for taking the time.

Any help is appreciated.

i bought my S there a couple of years back! They are great guys to deal with... it has a mom & pop dealer feel... no haggling around, no "oh, wait here, let me go talk to our financing people" and comes back notting his head and requesting a bigger down payment, no sales people, just really nice and polite guys that are easy to deal with.

Jimmy was a cool to me too

It is great to hear that you had a good experience. I purchased a couple cars in Florida already and have come across some "shady" dealers at times.

If you get time that would be great, and if someone else takes it out then I'll ensure that this thread is updated.

 

How much are they asking for it?
It would have to be quite substantial if you considering buying it from the farthest point instead of like upstate NY etc

The reason for Florida is that I am driving my parents down at the end of March, so I would just drive the S back.

 

i can stop by n check it out. Lexus of Tampa has an S out front for sale too.

 

i would look at Florida cars over a New York car, road salt = RUST. I sold a Black CR to a Canadian guy, Eric. Has an Acura Integra too.
