Default Drove a Ferrari F430 Scuderia. WHOA!

Because my wife ROCKS, my anniversary gift, as a part of a trip to Las Vegas, was seat time behind the wheel of the Ferrari F430 Scuderia.

WOW. If the looks of the car didn't have me like a drunk Italian redhead, the driving experience surely did.

You sit down low, and the seats wrap around you, hugging you before you drive. The instrument panel? Perfect. Lots of carbon fiber in the area, and very easy to read gauges.

The driving. HOLY S*#@! If the raw acceleration (0-60 in 3.5 seconds) wasn't enough to drop your draw in awe, the endless amount of grip in the corners will blow your mind. Each corner I took faster and faster as I lapped the course, but the car simply would not let go. Exiting each turn became progressively easier as I became more comfortable and would find myself antsy to mash the gas on corner exit.

Some folks may knock the paddle shifters, but I absolutely loved them. It's incredible to not have to lift off the throttle and continue to accelerate but change gears at the same time.

Visit exoticsracing.com for information, I HIGHLY recommend that if you have ever dreamed of tossing an exotic of your dreams around a track...this is the place to do it.

Maybe it was you I was talking to before everything got started?

I was wearing a read tshirt with the "Fast cars are for straights, fast drivers take curves" on it.

Whoever I was talking to helped me realize I needed to upgrade from the F430 F1 to the Scuderia.

She is definitely a keeper.

She completely understands my gearhead mind-set, and for a female, really loves cars herself.

But she also knows my love of speed and the dream of a Ferrari...what a fantastic first anniversary gift, getting to LIVE that dream of tossing a 510 hp Ferrari around a track.

Mind = BLOWN.

How many laps did you do? Are you alone on the track when you lap or can you race other people?
Can you be aggressive on the car or they tell you when to brake etc?
