I had the wheels powdercoated last week "Vulcan Black" in a shop in Houston called Quality Product Finishes. They did a great job on the wheels...I'm impressed.

Schatten,

Yeah, I'm going to use these wheels with the S02's or with some A032R's for the track...the Volks are for street. I almost perished in a hydroplane incedent...and I rather drive in the elements with a longer lasting tire with deeper and wider grooves (Toyo Proxes T1-S).

T1-S:

Smoothing out the calipers and having them powdercoated is a grand idea. Powdercoating will definately survive track abuse.

Unicron.......Awesome!

I have been considering doing this since I bought the car, and I think you have solidified my decision.

I'm tired of looking for rims with the correct offset, etc. Also, I desperatly need new tires since my rears have 18k on them now.

How much did it cost? Also, if you get a chance can you post a side view?

Thanks!

wow that looks pretty cool... something i would wanna do since i kinda have a tight budget. may i ask how much that cost you? do you guys think that black rims would look nice on a yellow s2k? btw they really look like the spoon rims. hey i think that the black chrome logo kit would really top off the look of your car...

Unicron, they look phat!!! Did you have to adjust the Comptech springs height when you installed the stock wheels?

have you raced that OLD z28 behind this picture?

Nice setup. Seems like the black wheels makes it look
*tougher* (Reverand's car looked *tough* like that too)
