This is the sort of thing Mazda does every year with the Miata. If it's done right I don't see anything wrong with it. I am not sure if more chrome is what the S needs. But I will wait until I see the final product before I judge it.

I couldn't translate the Honda jp webpage, but I'm guessing this isn't coming to the US. I personally hate gold wheels, and those chrome rearviews, yuck. I'd like a tan interior on a navy blue exterior though.

This might be the first view of the new tan interior (with white exterior). I'm personally on the fence to order a white 2003 until I see the interior. hmm

hmmm..

so we agree that the chrome mirrors are "subtracting" from the look of our car? :-)

Good luck to those 300 people searching for touch up paint for that thing.

Personally, I don't like the pinstriping and chrome mirrors... but the custom colors look interesting.

Note that Audi's S line have (chrome or aluminum, can't remember) mirrors.

What Honda is doing boggles the mind. At least the 'M' edition Miatas usually had some go-fast bits (suspension and tires mostly) to go with the extra gee-gaws.

I wouldn't mind the Dark Red Pearl color, and the interior doesn't look too bad (although I would definitely want to see it in person before putting down 32k!), the mirrors have to go. If I wanted chrome mirrors, I'd go down to Schuck's and pick up a pair from there.

And if you're going to have GOLD pinstriping and GOLD wheels, why the heck do you have CHROME mirrors?
