Red face FS: Lovefab Turbo Kit

Hi all, I'm selling my Lovefab turbo kit with < 1,000km as I have other plans now. I've decided to sell it because I'm turning the car into a time attack race car and am going for an NA build.

The kit is excellent, and the best thing is all the small fitment issues have been sorted out so the kit will fit perfectly. It made 414whp on my car with a conservative tune at 15 psi. I have included a few pics of the kit installed and the dyno sheet.

For those who feel the s2000 lacks power this is the perfect solution. It makes the car super quick as well as making it an absolute blast to drive!

The kit includes the following:

- LoveFab GT2 Equal length manifold (best turbo manifold available - makes the most power!)
- 3" downpipe
- 4" intake piping (polished)
- 3" intercooler piping (polished)
- Garrett GT3071 (polished turbo housing)
- TIAL 44mm wastegate
- TIAL 50mm BOV
- K&N Air Filter (5x10)
- Precision intercooler
- All coolant lines & hoses
- AEM EMS 1052U

The only things I would like to keep from the turbo kit are: (I can include these items if you really wanted me to)

- RC 750cc fuel injectors
- Walbro fuel pump
- Oil filter relocation kit

Overall the price for the kit from Lovefab is $7,799 (the polished piping is an extra above this price). If you add VAT (now 20%) and shipping it comes out to over £6,000

I will also include, which the kit doesn't bring:

- Custom air conditioning relocation lines ($300)
- Greddy turbo timer (new in box)

I'm looking for £3,100 without the AEM EMS or £3,800 including it. I would ship the items to you from Spain so there would be
no VAT your end. You can get the fuel items I want to keep for around £300

Save about 40% & get a kit with < 1000km and no waiting times

Ship to anywhere in Europe

Thanks for looking

I am aware that other US turbo kits fit without a problem and thought this would be the case with the Lovefab.

I'll try and see if I can find any concrete information as to whether it will fit a RHD and post back any findings.

Did some research and it seems like it will fit a RHD

aus2000 (moderator on the Aus forum has one fitted). I have quoted a post he wrote a while back

I had no idea ths thread was going on.

Just to clarify a few things on the LoveFab kit. I didn't modify the ABS unit, just the bracket that holds it in place. I moved it about an inch outwards to clear the compressor. No big deal.

With regards to the charge piping, I didn't have to do them myself as such. I did them myself because they would have blown out the shipping cost and well, I just like doing stuff myself. I suspect LoveFab's piping would fit fine. Oh, and I was totally in love with PWR's intercoolers.

I bought the turbo, downpipe, manifold and wastegate from the V1 kit (Not GT1). I already had the EMS, injectors and BOV from my previous SC and wanted to make the rest myself. I chose the LoveFab because it was a high mount turbo that shouldn't interfere with the steering shaft. I bought it on a 'Sale or return' basis as Cody was keen to test fitment on RHD. I suspect he would do the same on a GT1 if someone were interested. From brief inspection it looks like it would fit to me.

As for my impression, it is totally ballistic. I have a very loud 3" exhaust and it is a bit uncivilised but it is an absolute blast. Blows the Comptech SC to the weeds. There really isn't much on the road that will touch it.

Having sat in this car and felt it, I can honestly say the kit turns the S into a beast! Upstanding guy Ralph!

This will not fit a RHD and can not be made to fit. Which is a real shame because this manifold design seems to create excellent figures.

The Manifold is a very similar design to a full race manifold that Ive tried, which has less than 5mm from the master cylinder / slave cylinder. You simply can not bolt it into place unless you had a tiny turbo because of the steering rack.

I was more than happy to move the abs pump, change the slave cylinder and heatproof around the master cylinder. There was nothing to my knowledge I could do about the steering rack unfortunately. I tried removing the steering rack spacers to no real benefit.

GLWTS that kit looks really tidy and with a low comp block would make some seriously high numbers.

@ Pie_n_Chips

Cheers bud

@ s2000 gib

Thanks Andy!!

@ razzele

Cheers, it is a super nice kit and does make some awesome numbers.

As mentioned I'm not 100% sure whether this will fit a RHD or not, however I wouldn't like to go as far as saying it will not fit since aus2000 seems to have managed to get it to fit without modifying anything.

If someone is seriously interested something could be arranged to work out whether it will actually fit or not.

Aus2000 used a top mount manifold from lovefab.

Ah fair enough, didn't even realise they made a top mount. Thanks for the link, I wouldn't have been aware of this had you not posted it - there were no images on the other thread I found.

Well seems like it won't fit a RHD

Does anyone have any diagrams / measurements as to exactly where the steering rack falls?

If not I apologise and hopefully someone on the continent will snap it up.
