So, it was pretty simple, the lighting was a bit tricky because some of the window light was casting a yellowish light but the customer was happy, and I guess I was too

I think you did a good job! The highlighting along the ruffles of the last two shoes are really captured. Gives the viewer a clear understanding of the textures.

Nice job! What did you do to white out the background? Fire another flash in the background?

 

Joey, they look good you could use a little more EC on the third one but yep they are print worthy.

Calamari Yea I had two SB-600's Firing in a Softbox via On camera flash and used the SB-900 occasionally to blow out background

Enhanced contrast? Dude, looks great! Your knock-out with a hint of shadow works well.

 

Exposure compensation but I should have typed FEC Flash exposure compensation.

She wanted one a little blown out for the cover, she LOVES this one I kinda like it too
