Perhaps. On a long highway trip on the boring interstate I got 28 mpg by mostly leaving the cruise control engaged. Moderate driving with some vtec can still return low 20s.

Over the past 14 months and 13,500 miles, my car has averaged 25.1 mpg, not including track days. The highest mileage on one tank was 27.7 mpg and the lowest are from track days at 10.1-13.2 mpg. I cruise on the highways at 70-75 and better mileage could be obtained at lower speeds (and with the top up ). Also, the car sees VTEC on most days, so that decreases mileage as well. It's not an economy car, but does give better mileage than other cars of comparable performance.

I track my milage and I average 23.2 MPG. This is all around milage. Obviously cruising on the highway it will go up to 25.4.

I keep an excel spreadsheet on my car maintenance, once set up the formulas will track everything for you. All you have to do is plugin the numbers.

My daddy has a S2000 also.... when on a nice leisure trip, he got 32mpg. I think he drove some nice twisty roads and some normal highway driving (not interstate 80mph driving).

I personally get about 21mpg with abuse.

On a 220 mile trip which included cruising along the coast at under 30 mph, several vtec's, yet mostly fast highway speeds, with the top up, on a 25 degree day, with my gf in the car, 32 psi in the tires, about 1600 miles on the odometer, I managed to get 29.6 mpg, but I normally average 26.

I would have to let my wife borrow the Stook for a full tank ful to find out.(And That Ain't Gonna Happen!)
I can't drive it without sticking my foot in it, so. I just take what I get, and love every minute of it!

The gospel as spoken by Fireslayer.

Amen to that Dave, it sure will be a cold day in hell that my wife will get behind the wheel of my S2000.

She doesn't know how to drive stick!
