Guy's where is the best place to buy this. I think I've settled on these for track days but I dont know where to order. I've read Vilven (sp) is the best, but they have no website?

I also did a search and looked for a Vilven website to no avail. There is an address and phone number, however:

Vilven Tire
101 West Main Street
Royal, IL 61871

Phone: 1-800-251-0017

Vilven is a great supplier. They quote their tires shipped and shaved (which is a must as Toyos full tread aren't great for dry track use). I couldn't beat their prices after extensive searching.

Follow up...

Vilven is the cheapest by far. They sell shipped and shaved for less than the other sell for full tread without shipping. If you want these call Vilven.

I called Vilven (1-800-251-0017) last week and asked to speak to Mike, this very nice man who answered the phone said "well my name is Bob, Bob Vilven, can I help you?"

I ordered 2- 205/55-16 and 2- 245/45-16. I always heat cycle my own tires and I do not like them shaved so they were basically off the rack tires. I did not get a price for just the tires because Bob included the UPS Shipping right into the price. The fronts were $151 each and the backs were $164 each, and the silly things showed up two days later.

Front, the RA-1 is not yet mounted to a wheel, the S-02 is still on the OEM wheel

Back, same as front, not mounted yet

So this is what my truck looks like today, 8 tires and 4 wheels.

Triple-H, you're going to have to do about 10 million figure 8s to wear them down to a track usable level.

Have you used them full thread on the track before?
