You might have seen this old thread back in June I posted, about a new restaurant we wanted to open up downtown Chicago.

Well....the day has come and the restaurant and bar "aria" has opened! $3 Million later and here we are:

Congratulations on the opening..... looks nice! There's a small paragraph about aria in the Daily Herald today mentioning the chef's name and the opening today.

 

Congratulations to you! I know that this has been a long time in the works. I like the decor. As far as a dinner night, it sounds like fun.

 

hey, that is right behind where I stayed few weeks ago.

I will be in town with my friends again during Dec 21th weekend. Can we please do a dinner night that weekend? I totally missed the lunch last time with BP tour, since I was so hungry for Chinese food.

Who is your interior designer? I am in process planning a night club in Detroit area. and, interior design is such a PITA.

It's my very good friend who used to live in Holland, but recently moved to Michigan (I did the opposite, as you remember and he was in charge of the lighting in a kick ass club in Holland. We still have a plan to start something actually cool in Detroit/Chicago, because everywhere we went, the lights just sucked ass!! -Keep me posted!!
