The last official signup thread keeps getting lost under other threads and isn't really titled appropriately, so here is the new one.


As our misfortune would have it, we live in a world where not everyone is an honest car-enthusiast. We have many reports of people trying to take other people's money on the internet. When it comes to a fellow S2000 owner getting ripped off, T.I.T.S. and myself won't stand for it.

Therefore, T.I.T.S. would like to ask everyone to use this thread as a means of requesting help / support / advice for situations that appear to be getting out of control. T.I.T.S. would also like to offer this caution: When someone asks for help, we'll do whatever we can to help, but due to the potential danger & legal ramifications, we strongly advise our representatives *not* to meet the "complaintee" (the person who is ripping off the person lodging a complaint) in person. As reds2 once put it: "representatives should be limited to data gathering and documentation only. Leave the law enforcement and punishment to the police. If things can be settled amicably then by all means do so, but make sure everyone understands that violence by anyone is unacceptable."

If you wish to lodge a complaint, post here and send a PM to a representative in the region where the "complaintee" is located (or whatever is applicable) explaining the situation. See below for representative listings. There's not a whole lot of structure to this, just a general guideline for getting some help & advice. Maybe you're looking for the # of the local authorities for the area the complaintee lives in.

Hahaha...TITS sounds hella funny. So what is TITS anyway? A bunch of vigilantes looking for justice? Hehehe....that's funny. So, how does TITS work? They would come to people's houses or what? Are they afraid of getting shot at? Say for example, if a bunch of people came to my house looking for trouble, I have enough bullets to put out a whole military.

I would never rip off people, but this TITS thing sounds pretty funny and ridiculous. A bunch of vigilantes looking for justice...hehehe...just hope they won't run into a psychotic, violent killer (I don't mean me by the way, just an example).

 

You TITS wanna help someone? Help me instead. Help me find out if a certain S2000 has ever been in an accident of any sort. CarFax is worthless and absolutely unreliable. Anyone knows how to track down a previous owner or registered driver? Please let me know. Thanks!
