Damn, that's probably pretty serious. What was the situation? Did you drive through a deep puddle or something? Do you have your fake vent cutout to allow water into the filter more directly?

Did it actually Hydrolock your car?

If not,
Get rid of the intake first off. Second does your car start? If it does not, try and start it a couple of times(I had put my stock box back on). Second, take out your sparkplugs and drop a few drops of oil down each shaft. Then put the sparkplugs back inplace. After about 5 cranks it should start right up. You will get white smoke coming out of your exhaust(because your burning oil). Just let your car run for about 30 mins and rev it from time to time. You should be good to go after that.
Next question what intake are you going to get next? Hope this helps you out.

Before you restart, you should remove the air filter, and make sure that water was not sucked up into the CAI. If you restart with water in the CAI, it may get sucked into the engine. Just because it stalled, doesn't mean the water actually made it up into the engine, so don't make it worse. Good luck, and I hope your car is okay. -Pete

I have seen this work. But this enging had no oil leaking from it. If you have oil on the ground, there is a hole in the block.

Everthing seized up . My insurance should cover this. yes? Should I put the stock intake back on, or leave it so the adjuster will believe me on how it happened?
