I'm over 50 an I pay $700.00 for 6 months with a good driving record. With cars like a corvette it was a lot more. I think its cheep.

It just dawned on me your 21. If you were here it would cost you a lot more.

I was able to buy my my02 because the couple that was trying to buy it were:
1.He was 19 she was 17.
2.Just married and didn't have enough credit history to float the loan for a no trade-in purchase.
3. Couldn't even begin to afford the insurance.
I am 50 and had one ticket in my wife's car from just over 3 years ago. My initial premium was 1100 every 6 months but as my ticket rolled off my record and I dropped the uninsured motorist rider it dropped to 600 and some few dollars.

I just turned 25, and I pay 1300 a year, with a couple of tickets and one big accident/claim. Of course, before I turned 25, it was 2800/year.

$787 a year. State Farm, 64 years old, no recent at-fault accidents or tickets. State Farm insures my CRV ($560 a year) and house, too.

all_motor,

There isn't too much point in asking this question here (although others have done it in the past). Car insurance is SOOO highly personalized and subject to such wide variations, you will never find anyone who has your profile to compare to. Just a few of the possible permutations are:

The insurance company,
The myriad levels of coverage on each type of insurance:
collision, comp, uninsured, medical, prop damage, etc, etc,
Your car,
Where you live,
Your age,
Your marital status,
Your driving history,
Your credit rating,
How many other things you insure with this company,
Your prior insurability with other companies,
and on and on.

You obviously have the internet capability to find this site. Just do some simple on line quotes from various companies and you will know where you stand without guesswork.

Since I'm also 21, I thought I'd reply. I have no accidents or tickets on my record with State Farm and I pay a 1000 bucks every 6 months.
