I'll maintain a list of upcoming Northwest track events here so people can plan their schedules and don't miss an opportunity to run at the track with their fellow S2000 owners. You can find links to club and school web sites and lots of other track-related info here:

https://www.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.php?...?threadid=98080

If other threads are started to plan going to a specific event, I will add links below.

If you are planning on going to an event that I haven't listed, start a new thread or PM me and I'll add it.

See you at the track!

This year we're going to try something new for the Track Event Schedule: David de Regt has put together a great web page that is a filterable Pacific Northwest Motorsport Event List.

Follow the link below to see the listing.

Click on 'Show/Hide Filter List' near the top of the page to display the controls that will allow you to narrow the list to just the location, type of event, etc. that you are interested in seeing.

Click on 'Submit an Unlisted Event' to let him know about a new event.

Very good information, particularly for someone (like myself) moving to the region and looking for track opportunities!

Hey Ted,

Here is a track event for the schedule. Sounds good, and its cheap, but its on a Friday.

I think the Alfa club is the one who has SCCA Solo I standards for convertibles, so your roll hoops/cage has to be 2 inches above your helment. Or they just may require a roll cage all together.

They turned me down last year for an event at PR.

I told 'em I was short enough to sink in my seat and maybe meet the 2" above the helmet rule but then they tossed the diagonal brace thing at me.

That was it.

Sorry to hear that Lig.

Well, for anyone that has another track toy, this would probably make a good 1 day event.

BMWCC of BC has a few days at Mission. These are schools taught by Driving Unlimited. April 26, June 7, and Oct 4. April is "Road Skills 1". The June and Oct schools are "Road Skills 2" and are for drivers with some track experience.

Format of previous schools has been some morning exercises and afternoon lapping sessions. The schools are restricted to 24 cars in two run groups, so you typically get a decent amount of track time.

ps. I'm planning on attending the June 7 date.

24 cars on a dinky track sounds rather harrowing.

It would be! 12 at a time, two run groups.
