Post supertech is THE best!

So, I took my car to Ben (supertech) on Thursday so he could try to track down where the tick was coming from... But, when he had a hard time tracking it down while at his house, he told me to bring it by Diamond Bar Honda (where he is a tech) so he could more easily track down the source of the tick.

So, today I took the car down to Diamond Bar Honda and he did a valve adjustment on it and now the car runs BEAUTIFULLY! There is seriously no more tick left whatsoever.

He said that whoever installed my new head switched a couple things around. This is apparently okay if you really know what you're doing, but I guess they didn't know what they were doing. So, Ben used his infinite wisdom of the s2000 and correctly adjusted the valves.

I'm so happy now. Just figured I'd share.

I highly recommend Ben to anyone that needs some work done on their cars.

His price is $100... Yeah, you can find cheaper but you know you are getting quality work done since he's an actual Honda tech and he takes special care of our cars since he owns an s2000 himself.

edit - price includes new valve cover gasket if needed.

Which also means that he is SPEEDY because $100 with the gasket is just about an hour labor. I'm pretty sure the flat rate is more than an hour. I would think any less is just checking with no adjustment needed.

Props to Ben once again. It's nice to know there is someone in our corner when professional help is needed.

I think in the manual it says to do the valve adjustment at 105k.

BTW, I still need to set up a couple of appointments for my wifes car and my car. What's your schedule like the next few weeks?
