Didn't think it would happen but here's my story.
Hi to all ! Just a couple of months ago I would have never thought that I would be here now. I took my 93 civic in for some work at the dealer's and in the front lot there was a S2000. So me with about an hour and a half to kill told the salesman that recently sold me a new civic for my mom, " I want to take that!, for a drive" while pointing at the S2000. So he said "Let me get a plate". I have always liked the S2K but had never drove one and knew very little about the car and with that off we went. I was amazed at the 9k red line and how the little car handled. On the odometer was a mere 5500 miles, I thought it was on a trip setting but the salesman told me the story of the car and that was the real miles! So here I was ripping up the road in a nearly NEW 2003 S2000!! The salesman told me that there was someone coming to see this car later that afternoon, I thought to myself He was in for a very nice car to call his own. It was more than I wanted to spend and I didn't really need another toy. So later that afternoon while waiting for my repairs to be done I met the guy that was coming to look at the S2K, we talked a bit about the car and soon there after I went home.
I was interested in getting online later that night to find out more about the Honda S2000, so for several nights I learned a lot about the S2000. This little car was slowly winning me over. To my amazement that guy didn't buy the Silverstone 2003 S2000 with now 5600miles !! I went back a week later and the car was still there and they still wanted a top dollar for the car. I had seen a 2002 with 11k on the odometer on the internet and went to see it . A hot little red number the car looked showroom new at first, further looking turned up some low on rubber rear tires, appears that this car was a wife's car that got handed down to a son who musta ran the crap out of the thing. The clutch was abused and it drove nowhere as nice as the Silverstone 2003.
I went back to my dealer's lot and bargained my way into the Silverstone baby setting on the lot. I now have a little over 5900 miles on the car and can't get enough time behind the wheel. I work alot of hours and put the car away for the winter but spring is looking really fun, can't wait.
So I may have a lot of questions so be prepared, I look forward to being a member here.
I've been looking at a lot of the galleries and there are a lot of beautiful machines here.
