worked at it today for a while in the cold.
Bottom cam bolt sleeve isn't pulling down, but it is moving with the bushing, and the top lock nut of the sleeve isn't coming loose. The 17mm lock bolt is not the problem. It is out. I even threaded it back mostly and smacked it with a hammer, and a floor jack while hitting the top nut with big punch and hammer….

I think, I am going to attempt to use a tap set and tap into the bottom of the sleeve just inside the 24mm nut, tap far enough in to thread a BIG bolt up into the sleeve, and use some socket/bushings as a collar between the frame, and try and pull the sleeve out by tightening my threaded bolt into my makeshift puller.

If that fails and it probably will, then I will have to cut the sucker out of there, and get a new bottom sleeve and top lock nut. I am nowhere near a Honda dealer, 60 miles is the closest to even go order the new sleeve and nut if my pullling method fails

most all the plastidip is off now, off the H badges front and back, off the fender badges, and mostly off the wheels on the left side. Daily drifted sticker on the radio door has been removed as well as a few others on the outside. its cold and windy out so maybe a warm day soon to continue.

If you need OE parts and the closest dealer is 60 plus miles away, check out Honda Automotive Parts

best prices out there for OEM parts.

got the new Dunlop DZ102 front tire mounted on the used wheel today, also swapped the rear tire off the cracked rim to a used rim.
Title came to me the other day thru mail, so went to the Court House the other day and got the title transferred to my name, salvage of course. I think the previous owner in IL was Sue Miller, or something like that, I took pictures of the title. Anyhow, on the convert windscreen, it does say "MILLS" and a USA flag. If ANYONE knows this car, would love the info of the F22C swap stats, like did they tune it, or what ECU is it running or is this a ticking time bomb. I do plan on performing a compression check once i I have it back together and before I drive it much.

here is the old dead non-revivable back wheel

Much closer to finish on the suspension
still waiting on the outer tie rod end (will be here tomorrow) and waiting on the cam bolt sleeve and top lock nut from Honda (not sure how soon that will get here) Also the stabilizer bar endlink the junkyard sent me is for the left side, so it has to be cut and welded for now will have to add that part to my list too.

Have to repair a couple headlight mount tabs, so have the light out now. Might as well buff and polish it out too.

Should be able to yard drive it once my outer tie rod is here, car hasn't moved since it was trailered home from the auction.

Nice thread & hopefully a reclamation. Curious what you paid to win the auction? I'll be keeping an eye on your progress as well.

I wonder if the PO had put accord brakes on it given the track use. I wonder if user B Serious has seen this. He's seen some track time in the same area and been in the S2K scene for a while.
