Hello,

New guy here from Los Angeles. Looking to get an S2K. I found one thats 2002 with 35k miles. Going for $23,900.00 and the dealer does not want to budge on the price. Would you guys think thats a decent price? Seems to be all original which I like. All vin tags still there.

That seems on the high side to me. The going rate for cars like that
is closer to $19,000 - $20,000.

i thought so too. If the dealer can give it for 19k otd, I'd take it. Maybe I just need to keep looking for now

Hey flipnbeast if I would be you, I would wait a little longer. I was looking for my first s2k and it took a while because I wanted to buy it from a trustworthy dealership. I kept on looking and found a few at the price range you mentioned but they were 2000-2004 and I knew they were really expensive for the year they were. So I kept looking and I ended up getting a 06 with 38K for $23K which is a really good price, So I would suggest to keep looking until you find a clean and reasonable price. Keep us updates

Hello, I'm on to my second AP1. My first one was several years ago. It feels good to be back!

Thumbs up S2KI for the win!

Hey guys,

I've been a member of various car clubs and facebook S2000 groups, but this is my first time joining a form. I hope I'm posting this in the right place lol.
I'm on my second S2K, 02' Suzuka Blue, but still missing my first one. 00' Silverstone with the OEM hardtop (If you have an OEM top never get rid of it because the value is constantly rising). I daily my S as it is my only car and I am constantly planning what to do to it next. I don't have too many mods, but I have dynamatted the entire interior and added speakers behind the seats. Front lip, APR splitter, HKS exhaust, and I think that about covers it. If you guys ever have any 3M vinyl needs just let me know. I do sales for a vinyl printing company and can get the vinyl at close to vendor pricing!

Heyo from a new S2000 owner down in Columbus, MS. Picked up a New Formula Red 2001 with just over 41,000 miles on it about two weeks ago. Previous car (2006 RX-8) was rear ended while stopped in a Chick-Fil-A drive through and totaled out. Miss the old car but the new one is a blast. Have really been enjoying the convertible life, although I did have a bee fly into the cabin today at a longer stop light. I'm sure the other drivers enjoyed watching me dance! Looking forward to getting to know the new ride and meeting some new folks!

On that note, I wasn't able to find a MS specific group, and made an announcement in the AL Regional club. Any other S2K owners around Columbus?

Edit: Forgot to mention...car is all stock with the exception of a Grom Audio BT module behind the deck. I'm in the market for a used OEM exhaust that I'm planning on doing the UK mod to.

Default new guy from massachusetts

Howdy all,
gc here from mass....just yesterday put a deposit on my 1st s2000, 2005 with 39k miles on it. Worked with a local used car guy and will give a shout out to Mike Hare at Harbro Auto. He sent his runner out early this morning to jump on a train from mass to NY/Brooklyn to pick up my car. Funny story....I used to sell Honda cars for a local car Honda dealership in Auburn, Mass back in 2000. That's when I 1st saw the s2000.....and that stuck with me to this day. Recently decided to get off the Harley FLHX as people all around me were going down. Figured it was time to get back on 4 wheels, something special.....and so the new chapter begins....will be searching for recommendations for exhaust and performance mod suggestions....not right now though, wife will need to get over her sticker shock!!!!

Was looking for something a little different.....so her she is!!!!
