Introduce yourself here! Part II

Hello the name is Kenny. I bought my 02 Suzuka blue s2k with 125k for my birthday back in September of last year and I love it. There's a few low end mods but nothing too major and nothing was done to the engine so it runs like stock one. Glad to finally be in the s2k community! Edit

Happy :)
Hello guys! My name is Jayson and I just got my 2003 S2000 yesterday. Found it thru Offerup, silver, clean title, 83K miles, 1 owner, stock except the radio, and great price.
I'm so happy that I finally got one of my dream car.

Help ?
Hi
I am new to the forum, having just purchased a 2005 Berlina Black. I love it.
So hello!
I need your help already , I wonder how the marketplace ads work ?
I have been trying to buy these wheels https://www.s2ki.com/forums/member-s...tires-1192955/ and haven't heard anything back and wondered if i am missing something here? I send a reply, it is posted, but hear nothing back, are the sellers replies going somewhere I am unaware of ?
Thank you,
Bill

Another new guy to the S2000 community - AP1
Hello everyone,
My name is John and I just picked up a 2000 AP1. I've had my eye on a miata for years but the S2000 was always on my radar and the cost vs miata to me seemed always a huge factor. However, this AP1 car popped up and for some reason I bit the bullet. This car is by no means a peach. It runs and drives but it has 240K miles and the owner I suspect went cheap on maintenance. I'll be looking forward to researching the forums and learning from the community. I will want to go through all the highlighted items such as the retainers, banjo bolts, clutch MC, and plugs. I'll also change all the fluids while I'm at it. I have codes for misfire and both cylinders 1 and 4 are flagged for misfire. I cleared the codes and haven't popped up again after a few miles. Since I have the car now I feel like just removing the valve cover and inspecting the retainers immediately, but I wanted to ask the community if I should just get a leak-down check done first? As that would identify if a valve is not seated all the way, right? And possibly a bad retainer? My goal is to first get the mechanicals in good order and then move on to the cosmetic items later down the road. I'm in no hurry as I have a beater toyota but would love to drive this car as my daily. What do you all think?
BTW, I've seen some new members cars and they all look great. This community looks good and gives me motivation to get mine in good order. I've seen the upcoming Rock the Dragon event and I wish I could go but I don't have confidence to drive the car to NC from GA, at this time, maybe if there's another one in a few months or next year this time if everything goes well on this car. Wish me luck!
