thanks guys! i originally wanted silverstone, but this one with the red seat inserts grew on me.

by the way mmm, i am the same way. started with honda, had an E36 M3 (that was white to0), and now have another honda. i'm looking forward to M3 performance without the M3 maintance costs.

Welcome!!

I'm also a former e36m3 owner. Got the s2k about 8yrs ago when the M3's motor started losing compression in #6 cyl from bad rings. It'll take a while to get used to the lack of torque. But everything else about the car is right...and has been for 100k miles now for me.

Definitely dump those all seasons. Many of us track & autox junkies like the Dunlop Star Specs for street tires...good bang for the buck. Try a 225 up front and 255 in back. It's a great stagger. And don't forget a good alignment (note that the s2k is not like the M3 for alignments...you need more rear neg camber than front).

negcamber, thanks for that info. the star specs are first on the list for upgrades. hopefully i'll have them in the next week or two. i was wondering about the larger size, i may give that a try.
