Hello everyone!
My name is Jakub, living in north west England.
I own s2K since last summer-1999 JDM S2000 in New Formula Red/ Ascari red and what a summer it was cruising around Forrest of Bowland and North Wales! What a blast on the backroads.
I've joined theS2KUK club, but didn't find time to get to the meet yet but I'm planning on doing so next year.

I’ve been on the lookout for s2000 for quite a bit but I always wanted early jdm S and one day I’ve found it on Facebook marketplace, completely stock, 60k miles on the clock, two owners (first one for 5 years after it was imported in 1999 and second one was older now couple for the 20 years), it was listed only 50 miles from me, so I’ve went to see it and I knew I have to get it, two weeks later it was mine!

I have to say it was a bit sketchy to get used to vtec engagement at 6k rpm and redline at 9, but such a joy.
It’s parked and covered for winter now, as the first frost is hitting the UK.

It’s in good condition apart from the paint (gonna sort it after doing some mods) and I’m doing maintenance slowly,
I think o have to change TCT soon, in need to contact Billman!

Planning on full bush replacement, coil overs and Js half bumper +amis rear bumper next winter after I'm done with engine maintenance this summer.

Again glad to join probably on of the best car forums ever!

Congratulations and welcome. Did the early JDM S2000s come from the factory with those forged BBS wheels?

I would assume so but I don't have much documentation from first owner.
I love the design but will have to swap to bigger wheels in the future at some point as I’d like to go with bbk.
It has cd changer in the upper glove box as well (apparently standard for early jdm cars). It was never used and I have brand new inserts for it. Unfortunately head unit was swapped to some 2000s style visuals Sony unit so no idea if it works.
big plans for end of the next year and I will definitely do build thread.
