I'm new to S2000 ownership being a long term Porsche-a-holic.

Got the car two weeks ago and must say I'm quite impressed with the overall build & finish. I'm looking forward getting to know it ;) better over the summer.

That engine is just a little gem ooooh what a lovely noise :)

Hello Everyone - New member from the UK. I currently do not have a S2000 but am actively looking to purchase a project car I can tidy up and enjoy.

This will be my first Honda or Jap car for that matter. My car history is mostly from the Ford scene but I have always loved the lines of the S2000 so started to look for the right car which has lead me to this forum. Car will be a summer edition as my daily is a E92 M3.

Brought this back to Cornwall last week , a Y2000 model (a Y2K S2K) on 43000 miles with full history . 300 mile drive back from Leicester - ran beautifully . Completed an engine bay detail yesterday (was pretty clean already) and now in process of giving it a full 'fettle' as it's only covered 5000 miles in last 10 years. Sills etc look like new but will get a full arch / underside clean underway over winter and get some POR15 paint on unprotected suspension bits etc and a lot of dinitrol into cavities/ box sections. Loving the car already although I've got a big Skoda Barge that's marginally quicker (but doesn't make me smile as much https://www.s2ki.com/forums/images/icons/icon7.gif)

Hello all, I bought my S2K (2007 GT model) at the start of August after having owned a TVR Chimaera for 17 years. It was a bit of a wrench to move on, but I had reasons to change.
I still miss the torque of the TVR, but I'm impressed with the handling, and as to the VTEC....well! :vtec:

IThe soft top roof had apparently been replaced earlier this year, and I've got the hard top stored in the garage.

Bro has SC TVR on egay atm plastic cars have good water/rust protection.

Hello peeps.
Long time Honda owner just signed up here. Currently looking for a new car in the form of S2000. I will be buying it as a third vehicle to be driven like a motorcycle (only on the sunniest days).
Im aiming for the youngest i can find, as i prefer the look of the AP2, and my google searches seem to point me towards this version being easier to hold onto. Finally joined the forum as im close to buying one now. Can any of you point me towards a buyers guide or ideas on what usually gets crap on these cars first? As ive own plenty of other Hondas, i know they rust away before the engines give out usually.

Model preference would be a GT AP2 for a hardtop included. Based in the West Mids, UK.

Before someone on the UK forum roasts you, it’ll be a Facelft AP1 you’re looking for. (We never got the F22C engined AP2)

Did you find a car yet? It’s probably best to buy off an enthusiast owner rather than a dealer. Full service history obviously. Most of them are only driven in the summer months but again something you’d want to find out. A well kept owners car is worth waiting for. You’ll probably want low miles too......they do exist.
