Phew. Where do you find the energy? I would love it if you document the seat repairs. My bolster is crushed a bit and I might fix that one day.

Well, I just want to say I am very impressed with the job you are doing with this car. I find this thread really interesting because unlike most of the "build" threads here you are focused on keeping the car essentially stock and returning it to its former glory. Kudos to you for that.

Very nice job doing the fun stuff. It is so fun to make things new again because even though people may never notice, you do. You know what you did and can appreciate the parts you replaced.
When I first got my 80k mile car I did a few of the same things. I had to fix a rattling mirror with new mounts, fix a soft top latch that was missing screws holding the button on, freshening the headlights and a couple of other things. I am not as quick as you are.
My shift knob looks like your old one but not quite as bad. I didn't know they were supposed to be that shiny.
Thanks for the seat links. I am needing some bolster work done but mine is smoothing and re-dying red because it is scraped up. The foundation of the foam seems good but I can't get past the need to make it right with dye.

When I purchased my 02 it had about 8.5K miles on it and the driver's side bolster was already broken down a bit. Odd, because the prior owner was an 80 year old women who probably weighed 100 Lbs. I would like to restore the bolster. If I do it, I want it to come back to the original shape. The "after" photos in that link do not look like the original sharp and crisp shape to me. Might be a job for an experienced upholster guy.

don't bother with the CV cup swap, the car has never been lowered or beat on, so they definitely aren't pitted. I'm really curious to know where you got an upper VTEC solenoid gasket from. Ballade?

I did a bit of research on the available upper VTEC solenoid gaskets. Seems the Ballade is utter shit, I would advise checking that out on youtube. Kraken automotive seems to make the superior product.
