S2000 want-a-be
 

Great website! I am in the market for a used S2000. Could you please provide me with the pros and cons for the years 2002 thru 2005. Thank you.

Basics:

'02 adds glass rear window ;)
'04 moderately tweaked (less tail happy) suspension/17" wheels
bump in displacement from 2.0l to 2.2l
redline drops from 9k to 8k
moderate torque increase at lower rpm in powerband
revised front facia

^^ correction, '02 has the glass window

Mine must be the only MY02 that has glass then :D



'02 added the glass, as well as some minor interior trim details (silver linings around the door handles for example) as well as a revised stereo so you could ALMOST hear it while the top is down and cruising :rofl:

Apologies to my '02 brethren, I thought you were stuck in the dark ages as well.... :p

Actually, the MY00-MY01 vinyl window is bigger than the glass. ;)
