My name is Joe. I'm in San Diego, CA. I've joined the site for the wealth of knowledge here and maybe to share my build. I love the S2k and hope to own one some day. For now, I'll do my best to build something comparable. I don't own an S2000 but I do own the heart and soul of one. I'm building a little British roadster as a passion project that will be getting the AP1 F20C and 6 speed. I hope being here isn't shunned and I can take advantage of your knowledge and marketplace.
It's for sure British. This car was a joint venture between Jensen Motors and Donald Healey. The same Donald Healey and some of his designers from the well known Austin Healeys. It's a '74 Jensen Healey. It's bigger than an MGB with proportions similar to a Triumph TR6. I've had it for years now. I bought it while stationed in WA and eventually road tripped it down the west coast to California. It was a memorable trip down the 1 and 101.
My plan with this car is to modernize and bring it up to today's standards for a sports car. Currently, I'm selling things for funding and collecting engine parts. My block is also at the machine shop getting some love. I plan to start a build thread once more of my parts come in and things start rolling.
