02 s2000 ripped top
hey anyone know where i can get the cloth for i can temp fix my top?? i have i $1000 deductable. im sure you guys seen me driving around southside area with tape peeling off my top.

I just found a rip in my '06. I used needle and thread and vinyl flexible adhesive. Then I used some weatherproof duct tape on the inside. I'm no sure if thats a temp fix technically, but its working so far. Looks kinda boogered up though.

I bought some black vinyl, cut it to size and shape, and "glued" it with silicon adhesive. It's the same adhesive used for attaching trim strips and door weatherstripping.
I patched about ten months ago. Starting to come loose, but for $8, it worked for me. I'll have some of the guys who replied about replac when I get the cash! |

Hmm! Why don't you plan on getting a hardtop? I have a friend thats runs Decibels ill see what he can do for you. They do pretty much of all the Jag players cars. |
