Rainbow Muffler review - UK mod quote.
This weekend I went to S&S custom exhaust to fix a hole in the exhaust pipe. They told me it wouldn't take long. I returned 2 times to pick it up and both times the pipe was just sitting there untouched. The second time I returned I asked him how long and he said about 10 min. 45 min went by before I took my pipe and left. 2.5 hrs wasted. They have poor customer service and I can't recommend them.
I ran over to Stage 6 to see if they could repair. They were closed. I found a muffler shop across the street and spoke to Matt about fixing it. The guy had me on my way in 30 min. Pipe is working just fine and it only cost me $30 compared to the S$S phone quote of $50.
While I was there I showed Matt a pic of the stock exhaust UK mod. This is where they weld the H pipe before the muffler on each side.
link - https://www.s2ki.com/s2000/topic/944056-exhaust-mod/ Matt was familiar with this type of mod and said he will do it for $150
Reid ( an ex jax owner ) recently had it done and I got to hear it at the dragon. It sounds amazingly good for a stock exhaust.
If anyone is interested speak to Matt at Rainbow Exhaust 5300 Philips hwy 904-731-1029

Glad to hear you got it fixed. It's looking like I might need to get mine checked out soon. I have discovered a new exhaust note, and I think it's because something loosened. It literally sounds like a trumpet when I go into high RPMs in 2nd or 3rd. Not constantly though, but it is weird. I am not sure if I just did not push my car at all in the past to never notice it or what, but it became really obvious at the Dragon when I let my friend drive my car lol

I can back Rainbow. I've taken 3 other cars there and they haven't failed me. I've also referred friends and they all left happy.
Fast service (if they aren't packed) and negotiable pricing that's very fair. Their bays are open so you can watch what they do
