WTD 17. Who When and where?

I spoke to IAN and he's leaving JAX on Thursday am. I think I will do the same so maybe we can drive up together. Ried is meeting me in tapoco lodge on Thursday 27th.
I think a few of us are going. I'm curious to who is going , when and where they are staying.

I will see you folks there where the red dog sleeps. I will go up on a slower pace.

I'll be there too, driving down on Wednesday. The BF's shop is sponsoring the event and trying to do some cool raffles, like a set of Ohlins. Excited to see some of you guys there!

I was reading some of the comments on YouTube--- it's amazing how harsh, or how more critical, people are on these things happen with a high-performance sports car . It's like they give a higher burden to someone driving an expensive car, as if they should suddenly have better driving skills . Average person would not know how to get out of that situation. However, a reasonable person should not have been going as fast with such a high performance car on that Dragon Road . Again, everybody makes mistakes and that's how we live and learn.
here's a link on jalopy Nick about it

I feel their responses are justified. Did you read the owners post? He sounds like a real prick in his Nissan "exotic ". Ego out of control.

I didn't I was assuming all things being equal. But considering the facts about the drivers attitude, one can see how people will give him a hard timeā€¦ But I wonder how many of those people actually knew about the person behind it before they started commenting. there seems to be a pattern out there of exotic drivers just getting less slack than the average Joe . You know this gets me thinking why the answer is always Miata. The power is manageable, and if one makes a mistake there's always another sub 5K miata .

The response are based on his comment. And the car was new. Those comments seem harsh but I think deserved.
