Niice exhaust.
Wow 80mm, Thats alittle over 3inch right?
Yes this would def be for FI, I cant image this on a all-motor.
Why wont the Resonator last long?

80mm = 3.149606299
Resonators are not recommended on FI applications because they affect exhaust flow and build heat in the resonated area which increases risk of damage to the resonator. This has been learned by the use of resonators with high boost applications in the past, in which exhausts were damaged and hp was lost.

is it good for stock 7psi boost from the vortec? i know that if the diameter is too big for the flow it would reduce power not increase it. and would it be even louder that the 70mm singles?
and at low boost application like in my case, would the 70mm or the 80mm make the optimal piping size?

any kind of turbo application will be quieter then a comparable na application. i don't think you need to worry about volume with the exhaust since the turbo acts as a silencer of sorts. it won't be quiet, but it won't be 70rr loud.
i would be more concerned with the necking down at the where the piping splits...this is definitely not 80mm straight through judging by the pics. what is the real piping diameter?

Tracy Sports designed all of their exhausts with consideration of their customers' desires to have a high-flow cat or test pipe. For this reason, all these exhausts are cat-back systems.
80mm would be the ideal diameter for supercharged and turbo appplications. As far as sound.. as silver j stated, FI applications drastically change the exhaust tone, so you can never really compare the sound of this on an NA car versus a FI car.
Either way, as mentioned earlier in the thread, for maximum power... you do not want to use a resonated exhaust.
For high boost applications, the single 80mm is recommended but not required.. while the 80mm dual is suitable for lower boost applications, and for those who want a quieter system.
