Will you paint it or clear coat it?

My car is black and I have a cleared ASM trunk. I'll be leaving it the way it is and PPF wrapping it so its mildly clear. I think it looks best that way.

Mine didn't come with the washer nozzles drilled either. I'm just going to leave it as it. Mine also didn't come with the grill mounted like yours, and I noticed the previous ones had it mounted already.

It's not exactly the same as my hood is one of the few FRP ones, but it's interesting to compare.

Not drilling the nozzle holes is pretty surprising given how much the hood costs, but goddamn that's pretty.

I thought the same thing at first, but then I noticed a difference in design on the underside of the hoods. Mine doesn’t have the two recesses for the nozzles that are pictured in Whake’s hood. It’s completely flat all the way across. I’m not sure if they changed the mold or why it’s different.

I do know there was a race hood and street hood option, but I’m not sure if that has any impact.
Here is what my hood looks like on the underside, you can see the differences in the one area across the bottom where the frame meets the hood.

Yeah I think that they have a couple different molds and just pick whichever one is closest to them maybe? Who knows haha

What does the underside of your look like? Do you have the recesses for the washer nozzles, or does your look like mine?
