ASM header
 

I am planning to buy the ASM header. My car is stock apart from the exhaust and i want to start modyfing it. What is your opinion about ASM header?

Does nothing. If you want the proof dig around the JDM section a member here dyno'd it.

I agree with the above post. A freind installed one on his car and did not make any power on the dyno :( . I would recommend the J's/Tracey Sports/Toda/Mugen 2.2L all the dynos I have seen showed at least some gains with all of those :thumbup:

isn't the ASM header based on the Toda header? It probably won't give you any gains without further ASM or Toda mods.

Is the ASM header designed specifically for AP2 2.2L ? Because i have an AP1 F20C...

I dont know what motor it was designed with and I have been unable to find out so far :( .

They run a Toda stroker in the TA car and a 2.0 in the street car (I think) so it could be designed for the 2.0/2.2/or 2.3???

I think from their website, they mentioned that it could work with 2.0l or 2.2l as well.

I'm not sure it's a copy or not but I'm pretty sure their design is based on Toda header but with some tweaks as Toda header is known to crack & their 2-1 portion sits very low.

I'm about to buy this but I don't think I'll dyno the car to compare HP.
