You can run it on a stock ECU. But i would recommend saving money and just bore out your oem one and match the manifold to a true 70mm

Thanks for the reply, what's the reasoning behind the throttle body and spacer being able to work on stock ECU? Is the ECU able to adapt or is it because there is enough margin in the factory settings?

They do but I think they have to do the charge and then refund it (a number of stores do it this way for some reason). I got the tax refunded on my header when I bought it there earlier this year. Excited I am headed back to Japan for a week in April and will be going to ASM again.

Pretty interesting, they deducted the consumption tax straight away for me, possibly cash vs card transaction? I was using cash.
