Based off of a recent ASM Blog post, this part is discontinued. They might have a few left with clear coat on it already though. The mold that they are using has gone bad and isn't up to their standards.

Yea I just read/translated their post and it looks like they have a couple of clear coated ones in stock for 300,000yen. Which turns into 350,000 if I can have Gotuning buy me one then another $3-400 to have it painted NFR. Not worth it at that point...

How long does a mold normally last? Does that mean eventually all their exterior products will be discontinued?

I have the opportunity to pick up an ASM exhaust for what seems to be a rather decent price (about $US750). Early days in the investigation yet but from the single picture posted I'm guessing the volume is somewhere between "Black Sabbath concert" and "747 flyover"?

Hmm. I'm a little suspicious now...I tried Googling an image and one of the results has the exact picture used in the FS ad. I clicked on it and it linked to this S2ki thread: https://www.s2ki.com/forums/socal-sw...m-dual-763721/

The image itself isn't in that thread though, maybe it was edited out (or work is blocking it). I suppose it's possible the exhaust ended up all the way over here in New Zealand but it'd be nice to see some actual pics.

This is the Google search image used in the local ad:
