I run this on my car but unfortunately can't mention if it alone makes a difference but there is a lot more bracing compared to the OEM lower cross bar. I have all of the braces that ASM makes on my car and it is noticeably more rigid than my previous S2000 without. Adds some work when removing seats or exhausts but it does look good when you see it from underneath lol

For those running the ASM hood, did you rivet the center section or mount it with an alternative approach? Picked up a dry carbon ASM hood over the winter from Formula-S, now that spring is approaching I need to sort out if I am painting or clearing, and how to mount the center vent/cover.

I'll be honest since you have the Dry carbon, I leave it off. BUT if you do want to put it in, you rivet it on. So at first its a little confusing but you would rivet the front ones while top of the hood and get the rivet gun while the flap is folded up a little for both sides. Then to do the last 2, you do it from underside of the hood.

Been looking for one myself! Stumbled across this blog which appears to be the manufacturer of the hooks. s2kandtheant was in comments on the page but i've been unable to reach Anthony in regards to whether or not he ended up buying them

Thanks for sharing! Do they seem like they would hold up in a side impact?

Well...I can't give you the answer to that...but it's not just a thin layer of dry carbon.
According to ASM it's those body panels used in race cars with aluminium honeycomb structure sandwiched between carbon fiber.
I don't know how much better it can get beyond that, it definitely can take more impact than average carbon doors.

Race cars have full cages so the doors and panels are merely decoration. I'd venture to guess the doors would shatter like other cf bits if in an accident. More than likely says for off road use only.

The doors are gorgeous though.

So I was looking for one for years, long story short I had them reproduced.

All details are here:

Finished product here:

I am making a 2nd batch. They will either be steel, like in the posts. But if I can get 3 more people that want to have them CNC I can go that route.

If interested just PM here or hit me up thru IG.
